Defending champions NIC of Uganda hit CMTU of Tanzania 35-12 in the Nje Cup netball championship at the TCC Chang?ombe grounds in Dar es Salaam over the weekend.
Nakaaya Babla and Nabosa Prosy helped NIC won 17-8 until half time.
Mgeni Kihota scored nine goals for CMTU and Johari Mtina (6).
Nje Cup attracts 20 teams from Kenya, Uganda, and Zanzibar and hosts Tanzania Mainland.
Local teams are JKT Mbweni, Jeshi Stars, Mapinduzi Dodoma and Ilala Municipality.
