MC Algiers hope to benefit from Malek Cherrad's goalscoring skills
Algeria striker Malek Cherrad has signed an 18-month deal with Algerian first division side MC Algiers on Wednesday.
Cherrad has been out of contract with French side Bastia since June.
He has a clause in the contract which allows him to leave his new club if he receives an interesting offer from another outfit.
Cherrad previously played for French clubs Nice and Cannes and Belgian first division side Ghent.
