Yanga, Prisons held

Yanga forced their second consecutive draw when they were held to a barren draw in a Vodacom Premier League match against Moro United at the Jamhuri Stadium here yesterday.

The team trained by Malawian Jack Chamangwana also drew 1-1 with Mtibwa Sugar in their match played on the same ground last Sunday.

Chamangwana said after the match that he did not know what went wrong with his team. `I do not know why we can not win,` he said.

Yanga now have 11 points while Moro United are now one point below them.

In Dodoma, Prisons where held to a 2-2 draw by hosts Police Dodoma in a match played at Jamhuri Stadium.

This is the first match for Prisons who top the league with 22 points to draw out of eight games. Police Dodoma have eight points.

The league continues today when Simba host Ashanti United at Morogoro`s Jamhuri Stadium, Kagera Sugar vs Coastal Union (Kaitaba), Toto Africans vs Police Morogoro (Kirumba) and Pan Africans vs Mtibwa Sugar (Dodoma).
