Yanga beat toto 2-0 to reduce gap

Yanga hit Toto Africans 2-0 in a Vodacom Premier League match played at the Jamhuri Stadium in Morogoro yesterday.

Kenyan Ben Mwalala scored the first goal in 34th minute before Fred Mbuna added the second in the 58th minute in the match which Yanga dominated.

Yanga have now reached nine points after winning three matches out of six, they are placed third in the league which Prisons of Mbeya top on points, followed by Police Moro with 11 points.

Toto Africans still remain in the 11th place on six points.
In Arusha, Ashanti United and Kagera Sugar forced a barren draw.

Kagera Sugar now tie with Yanga on points while Ashanti and Moro United have eight points each.
