The Chairman of Young African Mr Imani Madenga welcoming The New Coach Kodic Dusan after his arrival at Julius Nyerere Airport on yesterday
Serbian soccer coach Kondic Dusan jetted into Dar es Salaam yesterday ready to sign a contract with Yanga.
If things go to plan, Dusan will be assisted by fellow Serbian Spaso Sokolovski (61).
The tacticians arrived together from Serbia and are putting up at a hotel in the city.
A Yanga insider confided to The Guardian that the coaches would go into business soon after signing contracts but would not discuss immigration and other details.
The source said Serbian coach Milutin Sredojevic `Micho`, who ditched the Dar es Salaam club at the end of the recent Mini League, had proposed the names of the two trainers to the Yanga management.
Dusan holds a master`s degree in physical education from the University of Belgrade in what used to be known as Yugoslavia.
He trained his home country`s AFC Obilc from 1981 to 1987 and later guided Primeiro de Agosto of Luanda into winning Angolas Super Cup 1991, 1992 and 1997. He thereafter crossed over to 1de Agosto, also of Angola.
Yanga, who have been doing exceptionally poorly in the on-going Vodacom Premier League, are currently trained by stand-in coach Jack Chamangwana from Malawi.
