With countries starting to name their provisional Nations Cup squads, the countdown to the biggest football tournament in Africa is well and truly underway.
Excitement is sure to intensify amongst players and fans alike as we build towards the kick off on 20 January 2008.
Nations Cup fever is on the streets of this football-mad country, in the shops, and in conversations everywhere.
I for one am getting very excited and as the Nations Cup draws ever closer, I will be offering up a few observations on what I'm seeing here.
