Great Britain v New Zealand third Test

Smith (centre) guided the Lions to a 3-0 series win

Great Britain boss Tony Smith said his players showed real courage as they fought back from two early tries to beat New Zealand 28-22 on Saturday.

"I am really pleased, for the players and the country," said Smith, whose side won the previous Test 44-0.

"We have done well, we had to grind it out in a different way and show some real guts and determination.

"We didn't get any breaks and spent the whole of the first half in our own half but my boys handled it really well."
