Ricardo Jesus in action for Spartak Nalchik
FC Spartak Nalchik forward Ricardo Jesus has become the seventh Brazilian player at PFC CSKA Moskva after completing a €2m transfer to the Moscow club.
The 22-year-old, who scored seven goals in 22 Premier-Liga games for Nalchik after joining from Sao Paulo side SC Internacional at the start of the season, has signed a two-year contract with the deposed Russian champions. CSKA now have seven Brazilians on their books, though this number could be reduced to five during the winter, with Eduardo Ratinho only on loan and 2004/05 UEFA Cup hero Daniel Carvalho still deliberating over whether or not to sign a new contract. Nalchik finished 12th in the 16-team Russian table to avoid relegation, while CSKA ended third in the Premier-Liga though they will finish bottom of UEFA Champions League Group G regardless of the result of their Matchday 6 game at Fenerbahçe SK.
