TFF to form committee to supervise Challenge Cup

The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) would form a local organization committee to supervise the Senior Challenge Cup which takes off on December 8-22 in Dar es Salaam and Arusha.

TFF Secretary-General Frederick Mwakalebela said yesterday that the committee aimed at making sure the country hosts the tournament more professionally.

``As the host we need to be very careful, therefore the committee will assure everything went as required,`` said Mwakalebela.
Mwakalebela added that the committee would assure there is tight security at the stadiums during the tournament.

``If any thing went unprofessionally it would not be a shame on TFF only but also the entire nation, therefore we will try our best to monitor everything,`` said Mwakalebela.

He said TFF would also ensure all teams are accommodated well and there is reliable transport.

``Because other matches will be staged in Arusha, we will make sure there is no transport problem for the teams,`` he added.
