The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) President, Leodegar Tenga, has warned Simba and Yanga on their frequent leadership saga.
Tenga said the two clubs were the top teams in the country which were supposed to set good examples to small teams.
`When you talk about Tanzanian soccer, you must talk of the two clubs. They are very popular abroad and, therefore, they should maintain their status by behaving professionally,` he said.
He said CAF and Fifa had been respecting Tanzania very much because of peace in soccer but officials and fans of the two teams had started distorting the image of the country by creating unnecessary chaos.
He urged the clubs to have effective governance which would not cause leadership problems.
He said fans of the two clubs had been notorious for causing chaos whenever their teams play in the league.
`Some of their fans have been fond of beating even the players,` he said.
He said that if chaos persists, TFF would ban their fans to go to the stadium when their clubs play.
TFF recently fined Yanga when their fans beat Haruna Moshi of Simba in a Vodacom Premier League match played in Morogoro on October 24.
Simba were also fined because their fans threw water bottles to Yanga players.
Concerning the leadership wrangles, Simba members last Sunday suspended their executive committee members for misappropriation of the club`s funds.
