Simba`s leadership thanks government

Simba have thanked the government for supporting the club`s leadership to continue with their daily activities. The chairman of the Msimbazi side team, Hassan Dalali, said the government was very concerned with the club`s chaos that took place recently and has to a greater extent helped to calm down the situation.

``I am very grateful with the way the government was involved in making sure that the constitution of Simba is not violated by any one. This shows how much the government is devoted in supporting football clubs,`` said Dalali.

However, Dalali said he hold no any grudge against any one who was behind the movement to suspend him and other team officials, saying it was the high time to go ahead with other plans and forget the past.

``We are ready to work with those who suspended us illegally, and I want to assure Simba fans that things are now clear in our club,`` Dalali claimed.

Furthermore, Dalali said he would arrange a meeting with the team members to discuss some crucial issues concerning the club.

The Simba head office was closed down since November 4 following the chaos that took place after six executive committee members, including Dalali, were suspended for embezzlement and misappropriation of the clubs funds totaling 10,000 dollars (about 12.5m/-) which was donated by Adidas.

Meanwhile, Dalali said they were ready to welcome the Fifa training committee which is in the country.
"We are ready to host them and show them what they want to know from us," said the chairman.
