
President Jakaya Kikwete
President Jakaya Kikwete yesterday appointed five new Deputy Permanent Secretaries and transferred one of them to fill a vacant post left by those who have either retired or been appointed to new Permanent secretary posts.
The appointed Deputy Permanent Secretaries with their previous posts in blackets are Eric Francis Shitindi (Director of Management Service) becomes the Deputy Permanent Secretary, President`s Office responsible for Public Management Service, Mbarak Abdulwakil (Director of Planning Director, Ikulu Zanzibar) who becomes Deputy Permanent Secretary in Vice President?s Office.
Others are Fanuel Mbonde (Director for Planning and Policy-Regional administration and Local government) becomes the Deputy Permanent Secretary, Prime Minister`s Office - Regional Administration and Local Government and Sophia Kaduma who becomes Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Cooperatives.
Meanwhile John Haule was appointed as Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and Andrew Nyumayo formerly Deputy Permanaent secretary Ministry of Finance has been transferred to Prime Ministers Office to hold the same portfolio.
