Fans will get the chance to say goodbye to Jason Robinson
England's Premiership players are set to be ruled out of playing for the Barbarians against world champions South Africa at Twickenham next month.
Premier Rugby, which represents the 12 Premiership clubs, says players cannot be released as the weekend is already allocated for EDF Energy Cup fixtures.
"Playing one-off fixtures like that in the season isn't feasible," said Premier Rugby chief Mark McCafferty.
The Barbarians squad will include Jason Robinson, Matt Giteau and Chris Latham.
Martyn Williams, Jerry Collins and Sitiveni Sivivatu have also been included in the pre-match advertising for the 1 December fixture.
