US Embassy trespassing lands student in court

A Mgudu High School student, Prince Anoiting (21) yesterday appeared before a Dar es salaam Kisutu Resident Magistrate, Sundi Fimbo, on charges of trespassing the US embassy allegedly with an intention to commit an offence.

Inspector Edwin Boniface claimed in the court that the accused unlawfully entered the American Embassy situated in Kinondoni district with intention to commit an offence on October 7, this year.

The accused denied the charge and the case comes up for mention on October 16, this year.

Meanwhile, three people, Yohana Mdongwa (25), Ally Rashid (23) and Sudi Amri (25) appeared in the same court yesterday on theft charges.

The prosecution told the court that the accused, on October 2, this year, stole several items including a generator, an equaliser and a mixer, all valued at 7.15m/- property of J.J.Blue Club.

The accused pleaded not guilty and their case comes for mention on October 16 this year.
