Commentators face an interesting time when the Smiths run out
Six players will make their Test debuts for New Zealand in Sunday's centenary clash against Australia at Wellington.
Kiwi boss Gary Kemble has selected Luke Covell and Taniela Tuiaki on the wings, scrum-half Jeremy Smith, prop Fuifui Moimoi and loose forward Jeremy Smith.
Uncapped prop forward Jeff Lima will start the game on the bench.
Kemble's choice means two players with the same name - Jeremy Smith - will appear in the same Test side for the first time in New Zealand history.
Jeremy James Smith will play in the No 7 jersey while Jeremy Jon Oscar Smith will wear No 13.
"We're really happy with the players we have and the whole squad has come together well since we've been in camp," said Kemble.
"This will be one of the most exciting tests in some time with so many players set to make their Test debuts, not just in our team but in the Australian side as well."
Only eight players - Krisnan Inu, Ben Roberts, Roy Asotasi, Dene Halatau, Simon Mannering, Frank Pritchard, David Faiumu and Sam Rapira - remain from the New Zealand side that last played Australia.
Meanwhile, lock Dallas Johnson was called into the Australian team as a replacement for the injured Paul Gallen.
He will now also make his Test debut as one of seven players from NRL champions Melbourne in the Australian side.
"It's topped off an awesome year for me. I suppose everyone dreams of playing in a green and gold jersey, so to get there is just unbelievable," said Johnson.
