Nigeria book Switzerland friendly

Nigeria are planning their preparations for the Cup of Nations

Nigeria will play Switzerland in an international friendly as part of their preparations for next year's African Cup of Nations' finals in Ghana.

The Nigeria Football Association (NFA) announced the match will take place in Berne on 20 November, three days after another friendly in Ljuljana against Slovenia.

The Super Eagles have already qualified for the finals after finishing top of Group 3 on 15 points.

Nigeria are also due to travel to play Mexico on 14 October, however Berti Vogt's will be without two players for the game.

Portsmouth striker Nwankwo Kanu is out with a knee injury and Richard Eromoigbe of Levski Sofia has a thigh strain.
