Burgess, 19, has enjoyed a superb season with Bradford
Uncapped youngsters Sam Burgess and Kevin Penny have been included in the 20-man Northern Union squad to face the All Golds at Warrington on 20 October.
Burgess won Super League's Young Player of the Year award, while exciting winger Penny also burst onto the scene.
The Northern Union will be captained by the experienced Adrian Morley, with Danny Tickle, Ben Westwood and Jamie Rooney also included in the squad.
The match will commemorate 100 years of international competition.
To mark the occasion, the teams have agreed to adopt the scoring system which was in place when they first met back in 1907, with tries worth three points instead of four and all goals - including drop-goals - worth two.
It will also act as a warm-up to the autumn Test series between Great Britain and New Zealand, with Great Britain coach Tony Smith using it to run the rule over some of his players.
The All Golds, coached by the legendary Wayne Bennett, have named a strong side with seven current New Zealand stars in their line-up.
Seven English-based Kiwis are included with Leeds' Clinton Toopi and Ali Lauitiiti and St Helens' Francis Meli and Jason Cayless among the 17-man squad.
Bradford's Tame Tupou, Castleford's Awen Guttenbeil and Thomas Leuluai - who is asked to play at hooker rather than scrum-half - are also selected.
Stacey Jones and Nigel Vagana have come out of international retirement to feature for the tourists.
The team will be led by former New Zealand captain Ruben Wiki, the most-capped player in rugby league history, while prop Steve Price will be the team's sole Australian, in recognition of the role played by Dally Messenger 100 years ago.
Messenger, an Australian rugby league legend, was a guest player with the original All Golds team on their 1907-08 tour to the UK.
New Zealand have named a 24-strong squad to play three Tests against Great Britain in October and November in addition to a one-off Test against France in Paris.
